FAQ's

1. Unfinished or prefinished hardwood?

Unfinished hardwood is installed in your home before the finish is applied, which can be matched to existing / surrounding hardwood floors. Prefinished hardwood is stained and sealed by the manufacturer prior to installation.

2. Should I expect colour variations in my floor?

Yes. Wood is a natural product and colour variations appear from board to board in all grades of hardwood especially in the lower grades such as Traditional, Country, and Rustic.

3. Should I mop my Hard Maple floors using water?

4. What is the difference between red oak and white oak hardwood?

White oak tends to be a bit browner, darker and more yellow. When you stain them, the difference between the 2 species decreases, especially the darker you go.Red oak tends to have a slightly stronger graining than white oak hardwood
